How Yucatan’s Mystery plays
The paytable is short. Royals from 10 to A are the low pays, and four premium symbols sit above them: a stone carving, a stone head, a blue mask and the priestess, who pays 25x stake for five on a line.
Mystery Coins take the place of a wild. They land in the base game and the free spins, spin through several symbols and then all settle on the same one, which can join up lines across the reels. The chosen symbol does not always form a win, so several coins can still pay nothing.
Free spins and the Super Mystery Coin
Three pyramid scatters anywhere on the reels award 10 free spins. The round starts with a 2x2 Super Mystery Coin that stays on the reels for every spin and moves to a new position each time.
The Super Coin only activates when a regular Mystery Coin lands next to it. It then splits into Mystery Coins that all reveal the same random symbol. Each pyramid that lands during the round adds extra spins and makes the Super Coin bigger, up to the full 5x4 grid, and at that size it activates on every spin.
That growth is what the round is built around. A small coin needs a neighbour before it does anything, while a fully grown one turns each remaining spin into a reveal across all 20 positions.
