How Gonzo’s Quest Megaways plays
Each reel shows between two and seven symbols, so the number of ways changes on every spin. Three or more matching symbols on adjacent reels from reel 1 pay. Symbols drop in rather than spin, and winning symbols explode so new ones can fall into their place. Each new win in a row raises the multiplier from x1 to x2, x3 and x5, where it stays until the spin ends. Wilds don’t explode, so they stay for the next drop, and up to two can be on screen. At random, an Earthquake removes every low-paying symbol, so only high-paying symbols fall in.
Free Falls
Three or more Free Fall symbols in a winning way, or two plus a wild, trigger the Free Falls. You get three free spins for each symbol in that way, so 9 to 18 to start. In Free Falls the multiplier ladder is x3, x6, x9 and x15, and more Free Falls can be won during the round, as in the original Gonzo’s Quest. When the round ends, play returns to the base game.
