How Grim Reaper Supermatch plays
Each spin opens with just five Halloween-themed symbols along the bottom of the board, and the five rows stacked above them stay closed. Line up three matching symbols on that first row and the next row opens for the same spin. From there the requirement creeps up by one symbol per row, and the third and sixth rows are where the two climbing rewards wait.
Nailed It! Games gives the climb some help. Its wild symbols spread as they land and stand in for every base-game symbol. Mystery stacks also appear to help you push further up. The low end of the paytable is made up of royals, while blue souls drift onto the board on every spin, and a scatter count of three or more opens the free spins.
Halfway Bonus
Unlocking the third row is the halfway point of the board, and the game marks it with one of five features. One gives a non-winning row a second chance with a respin. Another transforms symbols that did nothing into ones that join the match, a third upgrades the matched symbol to a higher-paying one, a fourth applies a 2x multiplier, and the last tops up the Soulcatcher Chest with extra souls.
Mega Respin
Open all six rows and the board switches into the Mega Respin. The symbols you matched on the way up become sticky and hold their places, while every other position spins again. Each time the respin adds another matching symbol, the feature runs once more, so a run of new matches keeps the board alive. It is the reward for reaching the very top of the Supermatch board.
Soulcatcher Chest and Soulcatcher Bonus
On every spin between two and eight blue souls show up on the reels and are gathered into the Soulcatcher Chest. When the chest is full it triggers the Soulcatcher Bonus, a spin played with special gem symbols, four of them in all, with the diamond at the top. Nailed It!
