How Gold Pile: Orangutan plays
Jungle animals such as an elephant fill the reels, and wins pay on 20 lines. What sets the game apart is reel 5, the only reel where gold versions of the symbols can land. You set the Gold Meter yourself: a higher setting raises your stake per spin and makes those gold symbols appear more often.
A gold symbol on reel 5 is what turns a five of a kind into something more:
- With a wild in the win: a Mini or Maxi prize.
- With no wild on the reels: the Grand Chase.
- Four wilds and a golden wild on reel 5: also the Grand Chase.
The Grand Chase and Free Games
The Grand Chase gives three respins in which only reel 5 spins and the triggering position is highlighted. Each respin can pay a Mini or Maxi prize, and landing the Grand symbol pays the Grand prize and ends the feature.
The Free Games are the second bonus. Three or more orangutan scatters award 8 free games. Two scatters during the round add 4 more and three or more add another 8, so the round can run well past its first eight games.
