How Congo Cash plays
Symbols pay on adjacent reels from the left across 432 ways, with wild animals of the rainforest filling the reels. Most of the time the game looks like a standard ways slot, but three jewels sit on top of reels 2, 3 and 4, and each one displays a prize before the reels stop.
To claim what the jewels show, three things need to line up on the same spin:
- a butterfly symbol on the first reel,
- a butterfly symbol on the last reel,
- and a Congo Cash symbol on at least one of the three middle reels.
One spin can collect up to all three prizes. The jewels can hold instant cash of 5x to 200x stake, a free spins award, or one of three fixed jackpots, with the Grand worth 2,000x stake. That mix is what separates it from a plain scatter game: you are watching the jewels as much as the reels.
Jewel Board free spins
Free spins arrive through the Jewel Board. One of the jewels can show a free spins prize of anywhere from 8 to 100 spins, and when the butterflies and a Congo Cash symbol line up beneath it, that number of spins is awarded.
During the round, extra diamond wilds are added to the reel below the jewel that triggered the feature, so that reel carries more wilds on every spin. When the spins end, play returns to the base game.
