Red Tiger released Gemtastic in January 2019 as a high-volatility gem slot with six reels of five rows and 30 paylines. Every win sets off a chain reaction of falling gems, and consecutive wins push the Lava Multiplier higher, up to 15x. The maximum win is 10,000x stake.

How Gemtastic plays
Wins need three or more matching gems on a payline. Five smaller gems are the low pays, four larger gems are the high pays, and the rainbow Wild substitutes for every paying symbol.
Each win starts a chain reaction: the winning gems are removed, new gems fall into their places, and the chain continues for as long as fresh wins land.
Every gem also comes in two Mega Gem sizes, 2x2 and 3x3, covering four or nine positions at once.
The Lava Multiplier and Magic Glow
Winning combinations trigger the Lava Multiplier, and each consecutive win in a chain moves it up a step, to a maximum of 15x. Later wins in a long chain are therefore multiplied more than the first.
Magic Glow can strike on any spin, when one gem type starts to sparkle. If glowing gems form part of a winning line, they disperse and turn into Wilds for the next step of the chain. Those Wilds can help to keep the chain, and the multiplier, going.
There is no free spins round. The chain reaction, the Lava Multiplier, Magic Glow and Mega Gems all play out in the base game, which is the main difference from gem slots built around a bonus round.
