How Crown Gems plays

Crown Gems strips a slot back to its paytable. You pick a stake, spin, and any matching symbols on the 10 lines pay. What sets it apart is how a line can be read: a win can start on the left, on the right, or in the middle of the reels, as long as the matching symbols sit next to each other on the line.

The symbols split into two groups:

  • Card values: 10, J, Q, K and A are the lower-paying symbols.
  • Gemstones: coloured jewels such as emeralds, sapphires and rubies pay more.
  • The crown: the jewelled crown is the top symbol, and five of them on a line is the game’s largest award.

With no features to wait for, the result you see when the reels stop is the whole result.

The Hi Roller mode

The one extra option in Crown Gems is Hi Roller. Instead of the usual 10 lines, it plays 20, 30, 40 or 50 active lines for a set of five spins, at a higher fixed stake for each step.

Each Hi Roller step costs a fixed amount for the set of five spins, and the cost rises with the number of lines. Not every version offers it, so the game’s information panel shows which options your version has.
