How Gem Rocks plays

A win needs three or more matching symbols on neighbouring reels, starting from the far left, and every extra copy of that symbol on a reel multiplies the number of winning ways. The red star is the top-paying gem and the crescent-moon gem comes next, with the other coloured stones below them.

Drop Down Wins applies to every winning spin. The symbols in a win disappear and new ones drop into their places, so one spin can keep paying for as long as fresh wins appear.

The Gem Rock Feature

A meter beside the reels tracks consecutive wins within one spin, and certain steps on it bring in a Monster Rock, a giant gem creature made of a single regular symbol:

  • Two wins in a row: a 2x2 Monster Rock.
  • Five wins in a row: a 3x3 Monster Rock.
  • Nine wins in a row: a 4x4 Monster Rock.

Yggdrasil designed each block to drop into the highest-paying position on the reels. Because a Monster Rock spans several reels and rows at once, it can add a large number of ways in a single drop and keep a chain of Drop Down Wins going.
