How Jackpot Raiders plays
Two explorers, Sam and Sir Bear, head for a lost Sunken City, and much of the game is about collecting things along the way. Wins pay on 20 lines, but the more interesting activity happens beneath the reels, where five different maps are tracked. Collecting five matching maps sends you straight into the jackpot free spins.
The compass is the scatter, and the number that land decides what happens next:
- Two compasses open a pick game with five chests, which can hold coin prizes, a map, the Treasure Hunt or jackpot free spins.
- Three or more compasses lead to either the Treasure Hunt or the jackpot free spins, with coin prizes added for four or five.
Yggdrasil rates the game as low volatility, and the maps and compasses mean something is often being collected even on spins that do not pay.
The Treasure Hunt and free spins
In the Treasure Hunt you choose a character. Sir Bear is more likely to reach the chests but finds smaller prizes, while Sam aims for larger prizes with a higher chance of failing. You get three attempts at a river crossing across three locations, and the chests can hold coins, map pieces or relics. Collecting five relics unlocks the Sunken City free spins.
There are two free spins modes, and both are where the jackpots come into play:
- Jackpot free spins: 10 spins with a 3x multiplier on wins.
- Sunken City free spins: a 10x multiplier on wins, reached only through the relics.
- In both, gems land on the reels, and collecting five gems of the same colour wins the matching jackpot.
