Fishin’ Frenzy Slots
A Fishin’ Frenzy slot is part of the seaside fishing series that our guides credit to Blueprint Gaming. In each game, fish symbols carry cash values and a fisherman can collect them, mostly in the free games. Our guides to Fishin’ Frenzy slots we stock are listed below.

What makes a Fishin’ Frenzy slot
The series began with Fishin’ Frenzy in September 2014, on five reels, three rows and 10 paylines. Three, four or five fishing boat scatters award 10, 15 or 20 free spins, and in that round every fisherman wild that lands collects the cash value shown on each fish in view. Some databases list the original under Reel Time Gaming, while the later games carry the Blueprint Gaming name.
Most of the sequels keep that 10-line layout and change what happens around the collect. The Big Catch (2021) started a sub-series of its own, and some later entries add a fish net that fills in the main game: in The Big Catch 3 (July 2025) the net is joined by worm symbols that gather cash, and Fishin’ Frenzy Christmas lets its net burst at any moment for a modifier or a direct route to the free spins.
How Fishin’ Frenzy slots differ
Three games leave the classic grid. Fishin’ Frenzy Megaways runs on six reels whose heights change every spin, for up to 15,625 ways, and The Big Catch Megaways (March 2022) brings The Big Catch’s fisherman upgrade to the same engine. Even Bigger Fish (October 2024) moves to six reels, four rows and 4,096 ways, and cash fish can be collected on ordinary spins as well as in the bonus.
Others add a choice or a side feature. Reel Time Fortune Play (September 2022) has an optional mode at 20x the base bet in which each fisherman boosts the lowest-value fish. The Big Catch Gold Spins (January 2026) pairs a Gamble Wheel with up to five Gold Spins after the free games, and The Big Match (June 2026) swaps the seaside for a football ground, with a Can of Worms that scoops up fish values.
Top prizes vary by game. Our guides give 2,500x stake for The Big Catch Gold Spins and The Big Match, 4,000x for The Big Splash and 10,000x for Even Bigger Fish, The Big Catch 3 and Lure ’Em In. These are upper limits, not what a session is likely to pay.
Where to start
Each of these guides shows a different side of the series.
- Fishin’ Frenzy: the 2014 original, with the fisherman collect in its simplest form.
- The Big Splash: before the free spins you pick a fish to reveal an upgrade, and collecting fishermen earns more picks.
- Lure ’Em In: three coloured tackle boxes above the reels fill as lure symbols land, then feed their upgrades into the feature.
- Even Bigger Fish: the 4,096-ways version, for anyone who wants collects outside the bonus.
