Fishin’ Frenzy The Big Match slot review

Fishin’ Frenzy The Big Match is a June 2026 Blueprint Gaming release in the Big Catch line, crossing the angling series with a football theme on five reels, three rows and 10 lines. Its new piece is the Can of Worms, a free spins symbol that scoops up fish values for the fisherman, and the maximum win is 2,500x your stake.

How Fishin’ Frenzy The Big Match plays

The reels sit under water with a stadium rising behind them, but the scoring will feel familiar to anyone who has played the series. Fish symbols carry cash values, wins pay on 10 fixed lines, and the bonus symbol is the one to watch, because the cash on the fish only pays out once a fisherman is on the reels in the free spins.

Power Play is the other option on the menu. At five times the usual stake, from 50p, it strips the reels down to the feature symbols that matter for the bonus, leaving out the regular paying symbols. It does not buy the bonus outright, but it makes the route to it busier.

Free spins, The Big Match and the Can of Worms

Three or more bonus symbols trigger the free spins. In the round every fisherman is wild and collects the value of each fish showing on the same spin. Fishermen are also counted, and every four collected activate The Big Match upgrade: the smallest fish moves up to the next size and five extra spins are added. Each upgrade makes every later collection count for more.

The Can of Worms comes into play in the free spins. When it lands together with a fish and a fisherman, it gathers the fish values first and is then collected by the fisherman, so one spin can gather several fish values at once. That two-step collect is what sets The Big Match apart from The Big Catch games, where the fisherman works alone.
