EuroMillions HotPicks Explained

EuroMillions HotPicks is a UK-only game that uses the main EuroMillions numbers but works very differently — you choose how many numbers to play, and you must match every one. Here’s how it works.

How to play

Each line costs £1.50. You decide whether to play Pick 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5, then choose that many numbers from 1 to 50. To win, all of your chosen numbers must appear among the five main EuroMillions numbers — the Lucky Stars don’t count. There’s no prize for matching fewer than you picked.

The fixed prizes

Game Match Prize Odds
Pick 5 5 numbers £1,000,000 1 in 2,118,760
Pick 4 4 numbers £30,000 1 in 51,724
Pick 3 3 numbers £1,500 1 in 1,960
Pick 2 2 numbers £100 1 in 91
Pick 1 1 number £10 1 in 10

Prizes are fixed and don’t roll over, so the £1 million top prize is the same every draw. Draws follow EuroMillions, on Tuesday and Friday.

Is it worth it?

HotPicks pays more for matching five numbers than the main game often does, but you lose the giant jackpot and the 13-tier safety net. For the main game see EuroMillions odds and the EuroMillions prize breakdown.
