How Bigger Bass Blizzard – Christmas Catch plays
The extra row gives each spin 20 symbol positions and a dozen lines to fill. Snowmobiles, fishing rods, tackle boxes and floats are the higher-paying symbols, with card royals below. Fish symbols carry cash values throughout, but those values are only collected in free spins, when the fisherman wild also acts as a collector.
In the base game, when exactly two scatters are showing, a hook can appear and nudge a reel to try to pull a third scatter into view and start the bonus.
Free spins on the ice
Three, four or five scatters award 10, 15 or 20 free spins. The fisherman now lands as a wild and a collector: whenever he appears, he collects the cash value of every fish on the reels, and those values can reach 4,000x the stake.
Each fisherman that lands is counted. Every fourth one collected adds 10 more free spins and moves the multiplier up a level, to a top level of 10x. Once the top level is reached, no further spins are added. Random hooks can also lift extra fish or fishermen onto the reels.
