Big Bass Christmas – Frozen Lake slot review
Big Bass Christmas – Frozen Lake is a Pragmatic Play addition to the Big Bass fishing series, released in November 2025. It runs on five reels, three rows and 10 paylines. Its twist is a card pick before each bonus that decides between the regular free spins and a Frozen Lake round played on reels holding only wilds and money symbols, and the maximum win is 5,000x the stake.

How Big Bass Christmas – Frozen Lake plays
The angler has swapped the summer river for a lake under ice, but the base game follows the series pattern: line wins across 10 paylines, fish carrying cash values and scatters leading to the feature. When two scatters land, the game can respin for the third.
What sets this release apart is the moment before the feature, when a card pick reveals which of two bonus rounds you will play.
- Fish: money symbols with cash values.
- Fisherman: the wild that collects fish values during free spins.
- Scatter: three, four or five start the bonus.
Regular free spins or the Frozen Lake round
In the regular version, three, four or five scatters award 10, 15 or 20 free spins. Every fisherman that lands collects the value of each fish in view. The game counts the fishermen, and every fourth one adds 10 more spins and raises the multiplier on fish values, first to 2x, then 3x and finally 10x.
The Frozen Lake version starts with 10 free spins on special reels where the ordinary pay symbols are removed, so only fishermen, fish and blank spaces can appear. Fishermen still build towards multiplier levels of up to 10x. Neither round is a better choice; they simply play differently.
