How Big Bass Xmas Xtreme plays
The base game has more going on than older Big Bass titles. Fish money symbols can appear at random with values up to 1,000x the stake, and when their values are collected a random multiplier from 1x to 50x can be applied.
The scatter needs some help to arrive in threes, and the game has two ways of giving it. Two scatters can lead to a respin for a third, and a narwhal can swim across and turn a symbol into the missing scatter.
- Fish: money symbols worth up to 1,000x.
- Fisherman: the wild and the collector of fish values.
- Narwhal: can convert a symbol into a scatter.
Gift modifiers and the free spins trail
Three or more scatters award 10 free spins, but first you unwrap gifts. Each one reveals a modifier that shapes the round before it starts:
- More free spins: adds spins to the starting total.
- Extra fish: fish money symbols land on every spin.
- Fisherman wilds: starts the round with wilds already collected.
- Remove lowest fish: takes the smallest fish values out of play.
During the spins, every fisherman that lands collects all fish values on screen. Every fourth fisherman moves you up the trail, adding 10 spins and a bigger multiplier on collections. There are eight levels, and the last one applies 50x. When a fisherman lands without fish, or fish land without a fisherman, a random feature can step in to help.
