How Word of Thoth plays
Thoth was the Egyptian god of writing and wisdom, so the reels sit in a dark temple and even the card ranks, 9 to A, are styled like hieroglyphs. An ankh, an eye emblem and other relics pay more, and Thoth himself is the top symbol.
Wins need three or more matching symbols on adjacent reels, starting from the left. Winning symbols then vanish, new ones drop in, and the chain runs until a drop brings no fresh win.
- The golden W is the wild and helps complete winning combinations.
- Every cascade win lights one step of the meter, and so does every scatter that lands.
- The meter resets after each spin, so all five steps have to come from a single spin.
Free spins and the multiplier meter
There are two ways into the bonus: land three or more scatters, or light all five steps of the meter in one spin. Either route opens the round with at least 10 free spins.
Inside the round the meter takes on a second job. Lighting three, four or five of its steps in one run of cascades applies a 3x, 5x or 10x multiplier and adds extra spins. Wilds also stay on the reels after forming part of a win, ready for the cascades that follow.
