Rainbow Riches Power Mix slot review
Rainbow Riches Power Mix is a Barcrest slot launched in December 2021 and the first quad-reel title from the studio’s parent group. Four separate 5x3 reel sets, each with 10 paylines, spin at the same time. You choose which bonus each set can trigger, and a Power Mix feature can link all four sets together.

How Rainbow Riches Power Mix plays
Each of the four grids works like a classic five-reel slot, paying left to right on its own 10 lines, so one spin covers 40 lines in total. What sets this game apart is the menu before you play: there are five bonus rounds, and every reel set gets one of them. Sets can share a feature or each take a different one. A set’s bonus starts when three or more of its bonus symbols land on that grid.
- Road to Riches: a wheel sets how many steps you move along a multiplier trail towards the pot of gold.
- Pots of Gold: bronze, silver and gold pots reveal a stake multiplier.
- Magic Toadstool: three picks from 24 toadstools, which can hide multipliers or fairies that unlock more picks.
- A coin bonus: coins reveal multipliers, and you choose to carry on to a higher level or collect.
- Free Spins: scatter-led spins on that grid.
In the four pick-style bonuses, landing five trigger symbols on a set pays 500x stake instantly instead of playing out the round, and in Road to Riches, Pots of Gold and Magic Toadstool four symbols give an improved version.
Free spins and the Power Mix round
On a reel set given the Free Spins option, three or more scatters award the feature. During those spins the scatter acts as a wild, and further scatters can add extra spins.
Power Mix is the headline round. Instead of four grids playing on their own, it brings all four reel sets together into one combined feature, where cash multipliers and modifiers can add to what you collect. Its trigger and full rules sit in the game’s help screens.
