When you play slots with your own money at Fortune Games, there is no wagering: winnings go to your real balance and can be withdrawn, subject to the withdrawal policy. Wagering only applies to bonus funds, such as free spin winnings, which carry a 10x wagering requirement.

Real money: no wagering

Your real balance is used first whenever you play. Wins from real-money stakes are added to your real balance, which you can withdraw once your account is verified. If a stake is split between real and bonus funds, any win is split in the same proportion: stake £1.50 real and £1.50 bonus, win £10, and £5 goes to each balance. Your deposits carry no wagering either, unless you use the FORTUNE2K code, which adds 10x wagering on the deposit amount.

Bonus funds: 10x wagering

Wagering is how sites limit the cost of bonuses: bonus funds have to be played through before any of them can become real money. Bonus funds can never be withdrawn directly; once you have wagered them 10 times, they are converted to real funds. If you win £10 in bonus funds with no other requirement running, you need to stake £100 of bonus funds; any existing requirement is added on top. With the FORTUNE2K Bonus Wheel, the deposit amount is also wagered 10 times. Only bonus stakes count, and the most bonus you can convert to real funds equals your lifetime deposits, up to £250. If you withdraw real money before finishing, any remaining bonus funds and outstanding promotions are forfeited, and bonus funds are also removed if you do not log in for more than 7 days. Conversion is capped too: if you finish wagering with £400 of bonus funds and your lifetime deposits are £50, £50 moves to your real balance and the rest is removed.

Games that count towards wagering

Blackjack, roulette, other casino-style games, video poker, keno and progressive jackpot slots do not count towards wagering, and bonus funds cannot be used on progressive jackpots. Bonus funds can only be staked on the games listed on the Bonus Enabled Games page. Free spins from offers are set to specific games, and the stake per free spin is fixed by the offer.

Cash prizes

Some promotions pay prizes in cash rather than bonus funds. In September 2026, for example, the Fluffy Fridays tournament paid its £250 prize pool in real cash to the top 10 players each Friday. No-wagering offers elsewhere usually pay winnings straight to your real balance, but they can have other limits, such as smaller prizes or caps, so the terms still matter.
