Online Slots Bonuses: A Checklist Before You Claim
Headline numbers sell a bonus; its terms decide what it is worth. Check these six things on any slot offer. Each one comes with the figures that apply at Fortune Games, so you can see how our offers work before you opt in.

Six terms to check
- Wagering: how many times you must stake bonus funds before you can convert them. Ours is 10x, and only bonus stakes count. For the FORTUNE2K Bonus Wheel, the terms apply 10x to the bonus and the deposit.
- The cap on what you keep: the most bonus you can convert to real funds equals your lifetime deposits, up to £250, and the site’s general bonus policy sets £50 for accounts that have never deposited. Free spin winnings are capped too: at £8 per 10 spins for Fortune Fridays, and at an amount set by Fortune Games for the Welcome Offer and PRO spins.
- Eligible games: bonus funds only work on the games on the Bonus Enabled Games page, which does not include bingo, table games or progressive jackpots.
- Time limits: a Daily Wheel spin expires at 23:59, Daily Wheel free spins expire after 7 days, and bonus funds are removed if you do not log in for more than 7 days.
- What cancels a bonus: withdrawing before you finish wagering forfeits the remaining bonus funds and any outstanding promotions.
- The deposit needed: the Daily Wheel needs none; the Welcome Offer, the Bonus Wheel and Fortune Fridays need £10 or more, and the weekly PRO offer needs £20.
A worked example
Say your free spins leave you with £8 in bonus funds. With 10x wagering, you would need to stake £80 of bonus funds on bonus-enabled games before converting what is left. If your lifetime deposits are £10, the most you could convert is £10, even if your bonus balance ends up higher. Part or all of a bonus balance is often lost during wagering, because the house edge applies to bonus stakes too.
Where to find the terms
Every card on our promotions page has a Read More link with that offer’s full terms. Rules that apply to every offer, such as the 7-day login rule and the conversion caps, sit in the bonus policy in our terms and conditions. If an offer’s terms and a guide like this one ever differ, the terms apply. For the current offers side by side, see our guide to offers for new players.
When to skip a bonus
Codes and opt-in offers are optional. If you would rather keep your balance free to withdraw, or you want to play games that are not on the bonus list, playing with your own funds may suit you better. Whichever you choose, set a deposit limit first.
Frequently asked questions
Which Fortune Games offer should I choose?
It depends on how you play. The Daily Wheel needs no deposit, and the Welcome Offer spreads 225 free spins over three deposits. The Bonus Wheel is one chance of a bigger match, but its terms say it replaces the Mega Reel welcome offer, so check which offer you would give up before you use the code.
Can I withdraw bonus funds?
Once you finish the wagering, bonus funds convert to real funds, up to your lifetime deposits and a maximum of £250 (£50 under the general bonus policy if you have never deposited). Withdrawing before then forfeits the remaining bonus.
Do free spin winnings count as cash?
Not from our offers: free spin winnings from Fortune Games offers are paid as bonus funds with 10x wagering. Free spins won in Pragmatic Play’s Drops & Wins are different; its terms say those winnings are paid in cash with no wagering.
Do I need a promo code?
Only for the Bonus Wheel (FORTUNE2K), the weekly PRO offer and codes we email you. The Welcome Offer, Fortune Fridays and the Daily Wheel need no code.
