Le Santa slot review

Le Santa is Hacksaw Gaming’s Christmas entry in its “Le” family of slots, released in November 2025. It uses a six by five grid with cluster pays, so five or more touching symbols make a win and cascades follow. The main mechanic turns winning spots into Golden Squares that a Rainbow symbol can open, and the maximum win is 20,000x the stake.

How Le Santa plays

Every win removes the symbols involved and lets new ones drop in, so one spin can chain several cascades. The squares behind those winning symbols stay marked in gold. When a Rainbow symbol lands after the cascades end, every Golden Square on the grid activates and reveals a prize symbol. So each base-game win can add to what a Rainbow might open.

  • Coins: bronze, silver or gold, each paying an instant cash prize.
  • Clovers: multiply the coins next to them or every coin on the grid.
  • Santa Sacks: gather the total value of the coins and other sacks in view.
  • Jackpot Boxes: can land on a spin or appear in a Golden Square, each offering one of four jackpot prizes tied to the bet.

The three bonus games

Free spins scatters lead to one of three bonuses, each with 10 free spins, and the number of scatters decides which one you play. All three keep the Golden Squares, Rainbows and prize symbols from the base game, and change one rule.

  • Silent Heist (three scatters): Golden Squares stay marked from spin to spin until a Rainbow activates them, so they can build across the round.
  • Sleighing It (four scatters): Golden Squares stay marked even after they are activated, so they can pay again on later Rainbows.
  • Wreck the Halls (five scatters): the hidden top bonus, where every free spin comes with a Rainbow.

So the scatter count matters: the rarer rounds keep more of the grid’s value.
