How Golden Genie and the Walking Wilds plays
The game draws on the tale of Aladdin and the magic lamp, and the two base-game features both use those characters. Neither needs a special symbol to trigger, so they can turn an ordinary spin into a stronger one at any moment:
- Genie Wishes happens when Aladdin lines up with his lamp on the reels. Every Aladdin and lamp symbol then turns wild, and each of those wilds carries a random multiplier from x2 to x10.
- Genie Lamps can trigger at random on any base-game spin. Reels 2 and 4 are covered with wilds, and wins pay both ways for that spin rather than only from the left.
That pays-both-ways spin is what sets the base game apart from a standard 20-line slot, as two full wild reels can complete lines in either direction.
The Genie Parade bonus
Three Genie scatter symbols trigger the Genie Parade. Each Genie stays on the reels as a walking wild and moves one position to the left on every spin, and each step adds one to its multiplier. When the Golden Genie leaves the reels, its multiplier is passed on to boost another Genie Wild.
There is no fixed number of spins. The round keeps going while at least one Genie is still on the reels, and any new Genies that land join the walk, which keeps it alive for longer. It ends once every Genie has walked off the left side of the grid.
