Gates of Olympus Xmas 1000 slot review
Gates of Olympus Xmas 1000 is a festive edition of Pragmatic Play’s Zeus slot, launched in December 2024. It uses a 6x5 grid with no paylines: eight or more matching symbols anywhere on screen make a win, and wins tumble away to let new symbols drop. Multiplier symbols worth from 2x to 1,000x can land on any spin, and the maximum win is 15,000x the stake.

How Gates of Olympus Xmas 1000 plays
Zeus still watches from the right of the reels, but the temple is dusted with snow. Coloured gems make up the lower values, while rings, goblets, hourglasses and crowns pay more. Position does not matter: the game counts how many of each symbol are showing, and once a count reaches eight the win is paid and those symbols disappear.
Tumbles continue while new wins form. Winged multiplier symbols can drop in at any point, and when the tumbling stops their values are added together and applied to the sequence’s total. There is no wild.
- Multiplier symbols: random values from 2x up to 1,000x, the feature behind the 1000 in the name.
- Scatter: four or more open the free spins.
Free spins and the running multiplier
Four or more scatters award 15 free spins. In this round the multipliers stop working one sequence at a time. Instead, every multiplier that lands adds its value to a total for the whole round, and that total is applied to any win where a fresh multiplier symbol lands. Because the total never resets during the feature, later spins can carry a much larger multiplier than the first ones.
Three or more scatters during the round add five more free spins, and this can happen more than once.
