How Double Lucky Mushrooms DoubleMax plays
The game reworks Reflex Gaming's earlier Lucky Mushrooms with Yggdrasil's DoubleMax mechanic, and its makers describe it as more volatile than the original. Wins pay for three or more matching symbols on adjacent reels from the leftmost reel, and the top symbols pay up to 25x stake for five.
- Wild Clover: in the base game this wild expands to fill its whole reel when it lands.
- Wishing Well Bonus: three or more wishing well symbols on one spin let you pick one of three wells for a cash prize.
Free spins, mushrooms and Lady Luck
Three, four or five free spins symbols award 8, 12 or 16 free spins. With three or four, the Free Spins Gamble lets you take the spins on offer or gamble them for a bigger award. During the round, every mushroom that lands reveals a mystery prize.
Lady Luck can land on reel 5. Her multiplier starts at x2, doubles each time she appears, and multiplies any mushroom prizes on the reels at the same time.
That is where the DoubleMax name comes in. In Yggdrasil's other DoubleMax games a multiplier doubles with each win, but here the doubling belongs to Lady Luck, so mushrooms that land alongside a later appearance are multiplied by a higher value.
