Deal or No Deal Double Action slot review
Deal or No Deal Double Action is a fruit machine style slot from Blueprint Gaming, released in July 2019 and based on the TV game show. It plays on five reels and three rows with five fixed lines that pay both ways. The real game happens above the reels, where numbers printed on the symbols move you along a trail to a Super Board with 16 features.

How Deal or No Deal Double Action plays
The reels look like a classic fruit machine. Wins pay on five lines in both directions, and the symbols are the familiar set:
- Deal or No Deal logo: the top-paying symbol.
- Red 7s and bells: the next tier.
- Fruit: melons, grapes, plums, cherries, oranges and lemons.
Some symbols are stacked, and some carry a number. When numbered symbols land, they add up and move you along a trail of eight steps above the reels, and getting past the end of the trail takes you onto the board itself.
Once you are on the board, two ladders build up, one of cash prizes starting at 1x stake and one of features. Board squares can add steps to the ladders, give a heart for an extra life or award a telephone, but a question mark can end the run. Telephones build towards the game’s top Deal or No Deal feature.
The Super Board features
The Super Board holds 16 different features, and climbing the feature ladder is how you reach them. Each one plays out in its own way, with possibilities that include respins, mystery symbols, multipliers, extra cash prizes and a flashing light trail that awards whatever it stops on.
At the top of the ladder sits Big Money, the game’s headline feature, which can pay up to 500x stake.
Most modern slots hang their bonus on a scatter count, but Double Action works like the board on a fruit machine cabinet, and you can see on screen how close the next feature is.
