Cheeky Fruits Split slot review
Cheeky Fruits Split is a 2021 fruit slot from G.Games, played on three reels and three rows with five fixed paylines. Its twist is the WILD/SPLIT symbol: when one lands, symbols can split into up to four copies, and any winning line with split symbols is multiplied by the number of splits. The maximum win is 1,250x the stake.

How Cheeky Fruits Split plays
The layout is as plain as a fruit machine gets: a 3x3 grid, five fixed lines paying left to right, and classic symbols such as cherries, plums and watermelons. With only nine positions on screen, almost everything interesting runs through one symbol. The WILD/SPLIT does three jobs:
- It is wild, matching any other symbol.
- It starts a split on the spin it lands, dividing one or more symbols into up to four of the same.
- It is also the scatter that counts towards the free spins.
G.Games describes the result as ways-like wins on paylines: a split position holds several copies of one symbol, so a line through it pays with a multiplier instead of the grid growing extra reels. On an older three-reel, five-line fruit game a line pays once; here the same line can pay several times over.
Free spins with a split on every spin
Four or more WILD/SPLIT symbols anywhere on the reels trigger the free spins. The number of spins rises with the count, from 7 for four symbols up to 25 for nine.
During the round the split no longer waits for a WILD/SPLIT to land: at least one symbol splits on every free spin, whereas in the base game a split needs that symbol to turn up first.
