How Cats of the Caribbean plays
Snowborn puts a crew of cat captains on the seas of the Caribbean, each competing for a share of the treasure and a bounty to bring home. Wins form on 20 paylines across five reels. Four cat pirates head the paytable, Big Tabby alongside Captains Red, Catnip and Claw, and a line of five of any of them pays the same amount. The wild pays more than any of them for five on a line, making it the most valuable symbol on the reels.
Two kinds of trigger symbol keep to set reels. Free Spins symbols appear only on reels 1, 3 and 5, and Cat Pots symbols land on reels 2, 3 and 4. Collecting wilds also feeds the game’s random wild feature, the main help in the base game.
The captains’ Free Spins
The free spins start when Free Spins symbols land on reels 1 and 3 together with a captain’s Free Spins symbol on reel 5. That third symbol decides the round. Captain Claw gives 10 spins and promises 25 wilds across them, Captain Catnip 12 spins with 40, and Captain Red 15 spins with 90. On each spin the wilds are dropped onto random positions, and when one is placed where another already sits, it becomes a multiplier wild.
Random wilds in the base game
Snowborn ties this feature to collection: every wild that is gathered adds to the chance of setting it off. It can then fire on any spin, without warning, and adds between 2 and 15 extra wilds to the reels for that one spin. The same rule as in the free spins applies here, so wilds that hit an occupied position combine into a multiplier wild.
Cat Pots Bonus
Three Cat Pots symbols, one on each of reels 2, 3 and 4, open this bonus. Fish 'Em Up keeps the 20-line format but swaps wild drops for collection, with a fisherman gathering cash fish and a Catch Booster multiplying the catch up to 10x. Eggs Bonanza moves to 243 ways on a 5x3 grid and builds its play around the Bonanza Bonus. Fish 'Em Up’s free spins come from three boat scatters, which award 10 spins. Set against the cat captains, Fish 'Em Up has the lower top prize and Eggs Bonanza the higher one.
