Big Santa Fortune slot review
Big Santa Fortune is Inspired Entertainment’s Christmas edition of Big Fishing Fortune, released in December 2022. It is a five-reel, three-row game with 10 win lines in which Santa swaps his sleigh for a fishing boat. Its bonus is unusual: a Match 3 game sets up free spins that have no fixed length and carry on until Santa reels in the Big Sticky Fish, and the top win is 2,500x the stake.

How Big Santa Fortune plays
The symbols lean into angling far more than into Christmas. Fishing gear makes up the premium symbols, card ranks fill the lower end, and fish symbols carry prize values that Santa can collect in the bonus.
Santa is the character the bonus revolves around. Scatters can land anywhere on the grid, and with no base game modifiers to learn, most of the interest sits in the bonus.
The Match 3 game and the Big Sticky Fish
Three, four or five scatters start the bonus with a Match 3 game. You turn over symbols until three identical fish appear, and that fish becomes the Big Sticky Fish for the free spins, carrying a prize value with it.
The free spins that follow have no counter. The Big Sticky Fish locks in place when it lands. The round only ends when Santa catches the Big Sticky Fish and collects the prizes, so one bonus might be over quickly while another runs for many spins. That open-ended structure is what separates it from most Christmas releases.
