Jingle Winner slot review

Jingle Winner is an Inspired Gaming slot that dresses a classic fruit-machine paytable for Christmas. It uses five reels, three rows and ten fixed paylines, and its free spins revolve around golden bells collecting the cash values on berry symbols while a trail above the reels raises their multipliers.

How Jingle Winner plays

The base game is closer to a high-street fruit machine than to most seasonal releases. Lines pay from left to right, and the reels carry watermelons, plums, grapes, oranges, lemons and cherries alongside two wrapped presents. The golden bell is the wild, and it is also the symbol at the heart of both bonus modes.

  • Golden bell: wild, and the collector during the bonus modes.
  • Berries: cash symbols carrying values from 1x to 100x the stake.
  • Santa: the bonus symbol that opens free spins.

Where it is offered, an optional Fortune Bet raises the cost of a spin to 1.5x the stake. In return, Santa can land as an oversized symbol: a fully visible one is worth ten free spins and each partly visible one five, up to 50 spins at the start of the round. The game also has a Fortune Spins mode, where everything except berries, Santas and bells is removed and every bell that lands collects the berries in view.

Free spins and the berry trail

Three, four or five Santa symbols award 10, 15 or 20 free spins. During the round, any bell that lands alongside berries pays the total of their values. Each collection also moves a marker along a 12-step trail above the reels.

The trail is split into three upgrade stages. Reaching each one adds extra free spins and lifts the multiplier applied to berry values, first to 2x, then 3x, and finally 10x at the last stage. That climb is the game’s hook, although a round can end before the later stages.
