Slingo Racing slot review

Slingo Racing is a Gaming Realms game released in March 2022 that adds a horse race to the familiar number grid. You play a 5x5 grid with 10 spins, back one of three horses before the round starts, and drive it along its track by marking off numbers. Multipliers sit along each track, and a horse that crosses the finish line awards that track’s jackpot.

How Slingo Racing plays

Underneath the racecourse, the core is standard Slingo. A reel of five numbers spins below the grid, and any number that matches one in the column directly above is marked off. Five marks in a row, across, down or diagonally, complete a slingo. You get 10 spins to work with at the start of each round.

What changes the feel is the track that runs around the grid. Each of the three horses has its own lane, and matching numbers moves your chosen runner forward. The further it gets, the richer the multipliers it reaches, so a spin that marks off a number does two jobs at once: it builds towards slingos and it pushes your horse up the course.

  • Wild and Super Wild: let you choose a number to mark off, with the Super Wild able to pick anywhere on the grid.
  • Free Spin symbol: adds a spin to the round.
  • Horses: three runners, each on a separate track with its own prizes.

Choosing a horse and the track jackpots

The horse you back is the one decision that shapes the whole round. All three runners share the same grid, but each track carries its own set of multipliers and its own jackpot, so your pick decides what a long run could be worth. A horse that keeps moving collects multipliers as it passes them, and one that reaches the finish line pays the jackpot attached to its track.

Gaming Realms lists Slingo Racing as high volatility, so many rounds will end with your horse short of the line. The numbers on each spin are random, and picking one horse over another does not change which numbers land.
