How Scroll of Dead plays
The base game is kept simple, with no modifiers between spins. Cleopatra is the highest-paying regular symbol, worth up to 500x stake for five on a line. The scarab does double duty: as a wild it can stand in for the regular pay symbols, and as a scatter it pays in any position and opens the bonus.
Play'n GO already has plenty of “of Dead” games, and this one is closest to Legacy of Dead in feel. The difference is the extra reel in the bonus. With six reels instead of five, an expanding symbol has one more column it can fill, and the free spins are where the 7,500x top win can land.

Three or more scarab scatters anywhere award 8 free spins, whether you land three, four or five. Before the round begins, one regular symbol is chosen at random as the expanding symbol, and a sixth reel is unlocked for the length of the feature.
Whenever the expanding symbol lands in enough positions to form a win, it stretches to cover its whole reel and pays across the lines. Scarab wilds can’t substitute for it, so the expanded wins come from the chosen symbol alone. Drawing Cleopatra as the expanding symbol has the most potential, while a lower-value symbol pays less per line.
