UK Powerball uses the US Powerball draw: five main numbers from 1 to 69 and one Powerball from 1 to 26. The draw takes place in the US on Monday, Wednesday and Saturday nights, which is 3.59am UK time for most of the year, so UK draw dates are Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday.
How UK Powerball prizes work
There are ten prize tiers. Two are fixed: matching five main numbers pays £1 million, and matching two main numbers pays £8, a tier only UK players get. The other tiers share a prize pool, so they change from draw to draw. The jackpot is shared with US winners and is paid to UK winners over 30 years, with no lump-sum option.
