How Pegasus Cash Spree plays
Gems and card ranks fill most of the reels, and Pegasus is both the wild and the top-paying symbol. The wild can stand up to three positions tall, covering a whole reel. Three mechanics run during the base game:
- Cash Spree: Cash Spree symbols carry cash values and pay out when they land on reels 1 and 2. Jackpot values for the Mini, Minor, Major and Mega can land only on reels 4 and 5.
- Mystery Selection: on each spin a chosen symbol can transform at random, which can turn a low-paying symbol into a Pegasus wild or a Cash Spree symbol.
- Multiplier meter: every free spins multiplier symbol that lands adds 0.5x to the meter above the reels, up to 10x.
Free spins and the jackpot wheel
Three or more free spins symbols spin the free spins wheel, which sets the round at 8, 10, 15, 20, 25 or 30 spins. The value on the multiplier meter then applies to wins in the round, and more free spins symbols can retrigger it. This link between the two stages sets the game’s rhythm: the multiplier you carry into free spins is built up spin by spin in the base game.
A wheel trigger symbol can also, at random, award a spin of the jackpot wheel. Its coloured segments match the five jackpots, from Mini to Grand, and each spin of it awards one of them.
