How Kingfisher Rising plays
Line wins pay left to right on 20 fixed lines. The crown wild fills gaps for the regular symbols, and the kingfisher itself is the top prize symbol: five of them on one spin award the game’s 6,000x maximum.
Each of the five reels has an egg sitting above it. Whenever a kingfisher lands, it pecks the egg over its reel, and the shell cracks a little further each time. When an egg breaks open, the bonus starts with whatever enhancement that egg holds. If more than one egg breaks on the same spin, each extra egg adds three free spins.
Free spins and the egg enhancements
Most eggs start 10 free spins. The golden egg on the middle reel gives 19 and switches on all four enhancements at once. During the round, fish symbols carrying cash values and upgrade symbols fill the grid for the kingfisher to collect. Each coloured egg changes the round in its own way:
- Red egg (reel one): a multiplier that starts at 2x and climbs with each X symbol, up to 5x.
- Green egg (reel two): an adder that raises fish values, building with plus symbols up to 5x the stake.
- Blue egg (reel four): arrow symbols upgrade the lowest paying symbols, starting with the 10s.
- Purple egg (reel five): a respin feature where fish and upgrade symbols lock in place and hearts top up the respins.
That pick of starting boosts is what sets the game apart: which egg breaks first decides how the bonus plays, so two rounds can feel very different.
