How Much Is a Set for Life Ticket?
A Set for Life ticket costs £1.50 per line for each draw you enter. One line is five main numbers from 1 to 47 plus one Life Ball from 1 to 10, and the Life Ball is part of that £1.50 rather than an extra. There are draws every Monday and Thursday, so playing one line in both draws of a week costs £3.
Prefer numbers? Slingo mixes a slot with a 5×5 number grid, and online scratchcards give an instant result.
New players: make your first deposit of £10 or more for one spin of the Mega Wheel, with a chance to win up to 500 free spins on Big Bass Bonanza. A prize is not guaranteed. Free spin winnings are paid as bonus funds with 10x wagering, up to a maximum set by Fortune Games, and the most bonus you can convert to real funds equals your lifetime deposits, up to £250.
18+. New players only. The spin isn’t given on a Quick Deposit or while a withdrawal is pending, and if you close the wheel without spinning it isn’t re-credited. Claim prizes within 7 days; bonus funds and pending offers are removed if your account is inactive for three days in a row. Full T&Cs. Fortune Games is not part of The National Lottery.
What your £1.50 covers
Each £1.50 line enters one set of six numbers into one draw. You can choose the numbers yourself or take a Lucky Dip, which picks them at random.
That single line plays for every prize tier in the draw. The top prize is £10,000 a month for 30 years, and the second prize is £10,000 a month for one year. Most lines win nothing, and buying more lines does not make a prize likely.
How the cost adds up
The price is charged per line and per draw, so the total is simply £1.50 multiplied by the number of lines and then by the number of draws.
| What you enter | Total cost |
|---|---|
| 1 line in 1 draw | £1.50 |
| 2 lines in 1 draw | £3 |
| 1 line in both draws of one week | £3 |
| 5 lines in 1 draw | £7.50 |
| 1 line in both draws for 4 weeks (8 draws) | £12 |
Playing more than one draw
When you buy, you pick Monday, Thursday or both, and how many weeks you want the same numbers to run. You can play up to four weeks in advance, and every draw in that run is charged at the same £1.50 per line. Set for Life is a separate game with its own ticket, so a Lotto or EuroMillions line does not include it.
Who can buy a ticket
You must be 18 or over to play Set for Life, as with every National Lottery game. Fortune Games is not part of The National Lottery and does not sell Set for Life tickets; buy them from the official operator. A ticket buys a chance in the draw, and a prize is not guaranteed. Prices can change, so check the official game page before you play.
