How Fruit Blox plays
Classic fruit machine symbols are given a modern grid here: cherries, lemons, oranges, grapes, watermelons, bells and stars. Instead of fixed lines, Connected Ways pays when matching symbols join up from the leftmost reel across at least three adjacent reels, linking up or down as well as sideways. There are 4,096 Connected Ways in all.
Symbols come in different sizes, which is where the game differs from a standard ways slot:
- Mega tiles: oversized symbols that fill blocks of positions, paying more the bigger they are.
- Adjacent mega tiles: two or more matching mega tiles next to each other double the payout they make.
Free spins and the extra wild

Before the first free spin, the game picks one of the regular symbols at random and makes it wild for the whole round.
