How Forgotten Island Megaways plays

Each reel lands between two and seven symbols, so the number of ways to win changes on every spin, up to 117,649. The Compass is the wild and stands in for the regular symbols, while Kong himself is the scatter. Card royals from 9 to Ace pay the least, with explorer’s finds such as a skull and a lantern above them.

Rolling Reels follow every win. The winning symbols disappear, new ones drop into the gaps, and the sequence carries on for as long as fresh wins form. What sets this game apart is that the base game has a multiplier of its own, through the Kong Spin, rather than saving every multiplier for the free spins.

Kong Spin and the free spins multiplier

Kong sits beside the reels, and any winning spin can wake him. A Kong Spin gives that spin a starting multiplier of 2x, 3x, 5x or 10x, and each further Rolling Reels win adds 1x to it. A Kong Spin can also trigger the free spins, and its multiplier then carries over into the round.

Four or more Kong scatters anywhere award 10 free spins, plus 2 more for each scatter beyond four. The multiplier starts at 2x, or at the carried-over Kong Spin value, and rises by 1x with every Rolling Reels win. It keeps climbing for the whole round rather than resetting after each spin, and four or more scatters during the round add extra spins.
