How Gorilla Gold Megaways plays
Every spin is really four spins at once. Each reel set has its own Megaways layout and pays on its own, and together they can reach 470,596 ways. Wins trigger cascades: paying symbols disappear and new ones drop in, so one spin can keep paying across several sets.
The key symbols on the jungle-themed reels are:
- Wild: substitutes for the regular paying symbols.
- Mystery symbols: in the base game they can land and all turn into the same symbol, which can help line up a win.
- Diamond scatters: four or more on any one reel set start the Gorilla Gold bonus.
The Gorilla Gold bonus wheel
When four or more diamond scatters land on one reel set, the bonus wheel spins and decides between regular free spins and Super Spins. The number of scatters sets the ceiling on what the wheel can offer: from 20 free spins or 15 Super Spins for four scatters, up to 35 free spins or 30 Super Spins for seven. You can gamble on the wheel for more spins or go straight into the round.
- Free spins: all four reel sets play, and an unlimited win multiplier goes up with the cascades.
- Super Spins: the round starts with fewer reel sets in play. Collecting golden monkey symbols unlocks the others, and each unlock adds five extra spins. The same uncapped multiplier runs here too.
That choice sets the bonus apart from most Megaways games: free spins give four grids from the start, while Super Spins build up through unlocks. Results either way are down to chance.
