Epic Fish: Net of Fortune slot
Epic Fish: Net of Fortune is a 2025 fishing game from Quickspin, played on 5 reels, 3 rows and 10 lines. Its defining feature is the net: when a fisherman wild lands with a Fish symbol, both lock in place for Net Respins, and every wild then collects the value printed on each Fish. Its free spins can upgrade twice, ending with sticky wilds.

How Epic Fish: Net of Fortune plays
Line wins need three or more matching symbols on one of the 10 lines. The card ranks 10 to A are the low-paying set, and above them sit Fish, a captain’s hat, binoculars, a jellyfish and a ship’s wheel. Each Fish pays on a line too, but it also shows a cash value for a wild to collect.
That wild is the fisherman. He substitutes for other symbols, and every fisherman wild in view collects every Fish on screen, adding their values to the win for that spin. Bonus symbols are the free-spins trigger and can land anywhere. In the base game, a wild landing together with Fish can also set off Net Respins at random.
Net Respins and the Fish Collection
Net Respins begin when a wild lands together with a Fish symbol. Every Fish and wild on screen locks in place and the other positions spin again as respins. Each new Fish or wild also locks and adds respins, and the feature ends on a respin that brings neither. The Fish Collection follows: every wild collects all the Fish on screen and adds their values to the win.
Free spins: Perfect Catch, Fish Frenzy and Fisherman Legend
Three Bonus symbols give 7 free spins of Perfect Catch, four give 8 of Fish Frenzy and five give 9 of Fisherman Legend. In Perfect Catch any wild and Fish on screen always bring Net Respins and a collection. Fish Frenzy adds a rule for wilds that land without Fish: some random symbols turn into Fish. Fisherman Legend makes every new wild sticky for the rest of the round.
A Wild meter counts each new wild, and the 6th and 12th each add one free spin and lift the round a stage, from Perfect Catch to Fish Frenzy and on to Fisherman Legend.
The Extra Bet
The Extra Bet is an optional setting that doubles the cost of each spin while it is switched on. In return Fish symbols land more often, and with them come more chances of Net Respins and the Fish Collection, since both need a Fish on screen beside a wild. Any Extra Bet spin sits within the same UK stake limits shown in the table.
Epic Fish: Net of Fortune compared with Big Bass Bonanza
A fisherman wild collecting cash-value fish links this game with Big Bass Bonanza, a 2020 game on the same 5x3 grid. In Big Bass Bonanza the fisherman only appears in the free spins, and every fourth one collected adds 10 spins and lifts the multiplier from 2x to 3x and then 10x. Epic Fish: Net of Fortune lets wilds collect in the base game as well, through Net Respins, and its free spins step up through new rules rather than a multiplier.
| Game | Released | Grid | How the fisherman collects |
|---|---|---|---|
| Epic Fish: Net of Fortune | 2025 | 5 reels, 3 rows | Wilds collect Fish in the base game and free spins; Net Respins lock Fish and wilds; the round upgrades at 6 and 12 wilds |
| Big Bass Bonanza | 2020 | 5 reels, 3 rows | Fisherman wilds collect only in the free spins; every fourth adds 10 spins and a higher multiplier |

Frequently asked questions
What is Epic Fish: Net of Fortune?
It is the Epic Fish game built on Net Respins and upgradable free spins. Quickspin supplies it in four versions with different return settings, chosen by the operator, so the game’s information panel is the place to check which one you are playing.
How do you reach Fisherman Legend in Epic Fish: Net of Fortune?
There are two routes. Five Bonus symbols open the free spins at that stage straight away, with 9 spins. Otherwise a lower round climbs there through the Wild meter: the sixth wild moves it up one stage and the twelfth reaches Fisherman Legend.
Do Net Respins need the free spins in Epic Fish: Net of Fortune?
No. In the base game they can start at random when a wild lands with Fish, and the Extra Bet raises the chance by bringing in more Fish. In the free spins they are always active, so every wild and Fish pairing sets them off.
