How Elemental Beasts plays
Every spin covers all 20 paylines, so the stake is the only setting to choose. The paytable is made of gems: coloured stones sit at the lower end, and crystals and diamonds pay more. A wolf is the wild, standing in for every symbol except the lion scatter.
The base game has one extra of its own, the Extra Bonus Chance. It triggers at random and gives a spin with a better chance of starting the free spins than an ordinary spin.
Free spins in Fire Mode and Ice Mode
Six or more lion scatters anywhere on the reels start the round, and each scatter in view is worth one free spin, so six scatters give six spins and eight give eight. Play begins in Fire Mode. Collect eight more scatters during the round and it changes to Ice Mode: wolf wilds take the place of the lion scatters, and every win starts with a 2x multiplier.
Collecting another eight in Ice Mode sends the round back to Fire Mode, and every full cycle adds a further 2x to the multiplier.
Spinsurance covers the end of the round. If the free spins run out having paid less than 10x your stake, three more are added, and this repeats until the total bonus win reaches at least 10x the stake.
