Disco Dawgs slot
Disco Dawgs is a Light & Wonder slot that went live in June 2022, laid out on 5 reels and 3 rows with 20 paylines. What sets it apart is a trio of dog wilds, each with its own job: one carries a multiplier, one stays on the reels for several spins, and one only turns up in the free spins. The studio’s own billing invites you to get funky with Diana, Doug and Tony as they dance across the reels.
Editorial note: this guide explains how Disco Dawgs works. Rules, features and payout figures are set by the studio and can differ between operators and game versions, so check the game’s information panel before you play. Slots are games of chance, and nothing here predicts results. Availability at Fortune Games can change.

How Disco Dawgs plays
Wins pay along 20 lines on a five-by-three grid. The lower symbols are card ranks from 10 up to Ace, and above them sit the disco props: a dog collar, a record player, a dog bowl and the game’s own logo, the highest-paying of these. The free spins are opened by a bone, which acts as the scatter.
Most of the action comes from the wild symbols, and there are three dogs in that role rather than one. The Pomeranian works in the classic way, standing in to finish a line, but it can also lift the payout of the line it completes. The Pug is about staying power instead of size, and the Dax is saved for the bonus round. Because each one changes a spin in a different way, two spins with wilds on screen can play out very differently.
Pomeranian and Pug wilds
The Pomeranian is the base game’s multiplier wild. When it lands and helps complete a winning line, that win can be doubled or tripled, the figure being set by the multiplier the Pomeranian carries. The Pug does not boost the amount, but once it lands it stays active for five spins in a row, so a single Pug can help with lines on several spins in succession rather than just the one it arrived on.
Free spins with the Dax wild
Three Bone scatters start the bonus with 8 free spins. This is where the third dog joins the line-up: the Dax wild, which carries a 3x or 4x multiplier. Which of the two you get depends on how many bonus symbols started the round. As an example, a three-scatter start gives eight spins in which every line the Dax helps to complete has its win multiplied.
Disco Dawgs compared with The Dog House
The Dog House is the obvious rival: it also puts dogs on a 5x3 grid with 20 lines and also leans on wilds with multipliers. The difference is in how the wilds behave. In The Dog House the multiplier wilds sit on the middle three reels, and in its free spins they turn sticky. Disco Dawgs splits those jobs between dogs, with one dog for multipliers, one for staying on the reels and a third saved for its bonus.
| Game | Grid and lines | Wild behaviour |
|---|---|---|
| Disco Dawgs | 5 reels, 3 rows, 20 paylines | Three wild dogs: multiplier, five-spin stay, and a free spins multiplier wild |
| The Dog House | 5 reels, 3 rows, 20 lines | Multiplier wilds on reels 2, 3 and 4; wilds turn sticky in free spins |

Frequently asked questions
What kind of game is the Disco Dawgs slot?
It is a five-reel video slot set on a disco dance floor, where three dancing dogs act as the wilds. Light & Wonder rates its volatility as medium-high. One of the dogs, the Pug, stays on the reels for five spins once it lands, so its effect can carry across several spins in a row.
Which dog is which in Disco Dawgs?
The fluffy Pomeranian is the multiplier wild of the base game, and the Pug is the one that hangs around for five spins. The Dax only joins the party in the free spins round, which three bone scatters start. That round runs for eight spins.
How much can you stake on Disco Dawgs?
Spins start from 20p in the studio’s own range. At sites licensed in Great Britain the top of that range is capped by the stake limits in the key facts table, and the lower £2 cap applies to anyone aged 18 to 24, whatever online slot they are playing.
