Diamond Fortunator: Hold and Win slot review
Diamond Fortunator: Hold and Win is a Playson slot released in 2021. It is a compact game with three reels, three rows and five paylines, and its main mechanic is a Hold and Win Bonus Game that doubles the grid to six rows. The Grand jackpot inside that bonus is worth 1,000x the stake.

How Diamond Fortunator: Hold and Win plays
It keeps the look of a classic fruit machine while dressing it in jewellery. Golden bells and bars sit alongside the four card suits, which are carved as gems. Line wins need three matching symbols across one of the five fixed paylines on the 3x3 grid.
The base game is deliberately simple. Its real job is to land the bonus symbols, which are diamonds marked with a cash value:
- Each bonus diamond shows a prize of 2x to 20x the stake
- Three or more of them anywhere on the grid start the feature
The Hold and Win Bonus Game
When three or more bonus diamonds land, the 3x3 grid expands into a field of six rows and three reels, 18 cells in all. The diamonds that triggered the round lock in place and you get three respins. Every new bonus symbol sticks and resets the count to three. The round ends when the respins run out or the grid is full.
Some of the symbols that land carry one of three jackpots, Mini, Major or Grand, in place of a cash value. The Grand is worth 1,000x the stake. If you fill all 18 cells with bonus and jackpot symbols, the total win for the round is doubled, which is the main reason the expanded grid matters: it gives the feature much more space to fill than the base game’s nine positions.
