Cubes is a Hacksaw Gaming slot released in March 2020 as part of its Pocketz range. Its symbols are plain cubes in six colours on a 5x5 grid: clusters of five or more matching cubes pay, and each win makes the grid bigger, up to 11x11. The maximum win is 3,000x your stake.

How Cubes plays
Every cube pays the same, so cluster size is what counts: five connected cubes of one colour pay 0.1x your stake, and clusters of 25 or more pay 40x. When a cluster wins, the winning cubes stay put and a new ring of cubes is added around the grid, taking it from 5x5 to 7x7. If that creates more wins, the grid can keep growing to a maximum of 11x11.
A white X marks the cube in the centre of the grid. A winning cluster in that cube’s colour gets a multiplier equal to the number of cubes in it, so five cubes pay 5x their usual amount, up to a cap of 22x.
Free spins and the Color Blast
Free spins need variety: winning clusters in five different colours in one round, counting the wins made as the grid expands. That awards 10 free spins, and one colour is picked at random to be sticky, so its winning cubes stay in place for the rest of the round.
The grid also keeps whatever size it reaches instead of shrinking back to 5x5 between spins, which gives the sticky colour room to spread. A cluster of 70 or more matching cubes in the free spins triggers the Color Blast, a fixed prize of 2,500x your stake, and this round is where the 3,000x maximum is possible.
