How Big Bass Hold & Spinner plays

There are two kinds of money symbol. Fish carry values from 2x up to 10,000x stake and are collected in free spins. Coins carry values from 1x to 2,000x stake and drive the Hold & Spinner round. Three or more coins trigger it: the trigger coins stay in place, their values are paid, and you get four respins. Each time new coins land, the respins reset to four and the values of all coins in view, the held ones included, are added to the total. Only the trigger coins stay put; new coins clear before the next respin.

Free spins with the fisherman

Three, four or five scatters award 10, 15 or 20 free spins. The fisherman wild appears on all reels and collects the value of every fish in view, though it doesn’t replace coins or scatters. When a spin ends with at least one wild on screen, fish can be added in random positions.

Every fourth wild adds 10 spins and raises the fish multiplier to 2x, then 3x, then 10x. The cap is 10,000x stake, against 2,100x in the original Big Bass Bonanza.

Frequently asked questions

How do you trigger the Hold & Spinner bonus?

Land three or more coin symbols in the base game. They lock in place, their values are paid, and you get four respins.

How do the respins work?

Each time new coins land, the respins reset to four and the values of every coin on screen, including the held trigger coins, are added to your win.

Is this the same as Big Bass Hold & Spinner Megaways?

No. This is the five-reel, three-row game with 10 paylines. The Megaways version is a separate release.

What is the RTP?

Pragmatic Play makes more than one version, and the operator chooses which to run. The game’s information panel shows the RTP of the version you are playing.
