How Big Bass Bonanza – Reel Action plays
If you know the original Big Bass Bonanza, very little here will surprise you, and that is the point. Reviewers describe it as a refreshed edition of the first game rather than a new story: same layout, same lake, same symbol set. The higher-paying icons are the float, rod, tackle box, dragonfly and fish, with A to 10 card ranks below them.
Three or more matching symbols on one of the 10 lines pay out. The extra in this version is an optional Ante Bet, which costs more per spin and puts more scatters on the reels to make the bonus more likely to start. Where it is offered, the panel shows the exact cost.
Free spins and the fisherman trail
The bonus begins with three, four or five fish scatters, which award 10, 15 or 20 free spins in turn. During the round, a fisherman wild landing alongside money fish collects all of their values.
Every fisherman is counted above the reels. Four of them retrigger the round with 10 extra spins and a multiplier, which climbs as the trail fills:
- 4 fishermen: 10 more spins and 2x
- 8 fishermen: 10 more spins and 3x
- 12 fishermen: 10 more spins and 10x
That ladder is unchanged from the 2020 original, so the appeal of Reel Action is a familiar bonus in a newer package.
