How Beauty & the Beast plays
The reels sit in front of the Beast’s snow-covered castle, with the three servants pictured to the left. Wins pay on 20 lines, and the highest-paying regular symbols are Beauty and the Beast themselves, with coloured gems below them. In the base game a servant can step in at random with one of three features:
- The Maid (Random Wilds): adds two to four wilds to the reels.
- The Butler (Nudge Reels): nudges one reel up or down by one position to improve the result.
- The Chef (Synced Reels): links the three middle reels so they show the same symbols for that spin.
Free spins and the Golden Bet
Three or more roses award 10 free spins. In this round a servant’s feature is always active, and you choose which one joins you; with the Golden Bet’s Boost option on, you can take two. Three more roses during the round retrigger it and bring in another servant.
The Golden Bet is an optional extra stake that, in Yggdrasil’s words, lets you alter the reward structure. It comes in three versions: Nudge aims to bring the free spins round more often, Boost aims to improve the round itself, and Boost & Nudge combines the two at the highest extra cost. It can be switched on or off at any time, so the base game can always be played at the normal stake instead.
