Aloha! Christmas slot review
Aloha! Christmas is NetEnt’s December 2020 festive version of Aloha! Cluster Pays, moving the Hawaiian beach setting into the holidays. It plays on a six by six grid where clusters of nine or more matching symbols pay, with Sticky Win Re-Spins in the base game and a choice of two Tiki Bar free spins modes.

How Aloha! Christmas plays
There are no paylines. A win needs at least nine identical symbols joined horizontally or vertically, and the payout grows with the size of the cluster, topping out at 250x the stake for a large group of the leading Tiki symbol. The tropical paytable of shells, pineapples, coconuts and flowers stays, and the Tiki statues and sandy beach get a seasonal makeover.
What separates this edition from the original is the mystery symbol. It can land anywhere in both the base game and the bonus, then turns into one randomly chosen symbol to help form clusters, and it can also become a multiplier wild worth up to 7x.
Any base game win can also lead to Sticky Win Re-Spins. The winning cluster and any matching symbols hold their places while the other positions spin again, and this repeats while new matching symbols join. At the end, a multiplier based on the final cluster size applies, ranging from 1x for small groups up to 7x when 35 or 36 positions are covered.
Tiki Bar free spins
Three or more scatters start the bonus, and you then choose how to play it:
- Tiki Bar: ten free spins, with mystery wilds carrying 2x, 3x or 4x multipliers. It is listed as the medium volatility option.
- Tiki Bar Max: six free spins, with mystery wild multipliers of 4x, 5x or 7x. This is the high volatility option.
Starfish appear on the grid only during free spins. Collecting three of them adds two more spins and removes the lowest-paying symbol type from the reels.
