Alive! Megaways slot review
Alive! Megaways is Skywind’s 2021 take on the Megaways format: six reels that each show two to seven symbols, topped by a horizontal reel, for up to 200,704 ways to win. Wins trigger Extra Chance cascades, and the free games multiplier climbs with each cascade win, with no upper limit. Skywind lists the maximum win as 10,000x the stake.

How Alive! Megaways plays
The setting is a mad scientist’s laboratory, with a Frankenstein-style monster, crackling electrical equipment and a lever that powers the bonus. On each spin the six reels land at random heights, and the top reel adds four extra positions above reels 2 to 5.
Any win starts the Extra Chance feature: the winning symbols are removed from the main reels and the top reel, new symbols drop in, and the cascades continue until one produces no win.
- Dynamic Action symbols: mystery symbols that all turn into the same paying symbol when they land.
- Brain in a jar: the wild, which substitutes for the regular paying symbols.
- Lever: the scatter that opens the free games.
Unlimited Multiplier Free Games
Three or more lever scatters anywhere start the Unlimited Multiplier Free Games with 8 free games, plus 4 more for each scatter beyond three. The multiplier begins at 1x and goes up by 1 with every Extra Chance win, with no cap, so a long chain of cascades lifts it for the rest of the round. More levers during the round can add extra spins.
Where it is offered, Play It Your Way follows the free games. You can collect the win, bank part of it with Bank It and gamble the rest, or gamble it for extra free games, and a lost gamble loses the amount you put at stake.
It was the third Megaways title from Skywind, and it pairs the format’s changing reel heights with mystery symbols, a top reel and a free games multiplier that keeps counting.
