How Zeus III plays
Lines start from the leftmost reel, which in the base game has only two positions, so every win must pass through it before the taller reels add length. The temple is the wild and substitutes for everything except the scatter.
- Zeus: the top regular symbol. If he fills an entire reel, that reel turns wild.
- Temple wild: substitutes for all symbols other than the scatter.
- Scatter: Zeus’s hand gripping a lightning bolt, which lands on reels 2 to 6 in the base game.
Free spins on a reversed grid
Three, four or five scatters at once start the bonus. Three give 10 free spins, four give 25 spins plus a prize of 10x the total bet, and five give 50 spins plus 50x the total bet.
Once the round begins the reel heights swap round, running seven, six, five, four, three and two rows from left to right. With the tallest reel now first, lines have far more ways to get started, and a full reel of Zeus near the start can feed into many more lines. More scatters landing during the round can award further free spins, so a long session in the reversed layout is possible, though not common.
