How Win Escalator plays
The symbols are pure fruit machine: cherries, lemons, oranges, grapes and melons at the bottom of the paytable, then stars, horseshoes, bells and the red 7 at the top. With three lines on a 4x3 grid, each row is simply a payline, so the base game reads at a glance.
The twist is the escalator in the name, run in reverse. When a Diamond Wild lands it stays on the reels rather than spinning away, and on each following spin it drops one row lower. A wild that lands on the top row can stay in view for three spins before it slides off. The Diamond Wild substitutes for all the paying symbols, so several wilds working their way down at once can line up combinations across more than one row.
Free spins and the Expanding Symbol
Three free spins symbols anywhere on the reels award 10 free spins. Two things change once the round starts:
- Extra spins from wilds: every new Diamond Wild that lands adds one more free spin, so the round has no fixed length.
- Expanding Symbol: this symbol appears only in free spins, and each one adds a row to the reels. Up to five extra rows can be added, taking the grid from three rows to eight and the paylines from three to eight.
Taller reels give sliding wilds more rows to travel down.
