How White Orchid plays
White Orchid is built around orchid blooms, with a woman character as the top-paying symbol. Before you spin you choose how the reels pay. In the standard mode the game uses 40 paylines. Switch on the MultiWay option, which doubles the stake, and the game also pays MultiWay awards on 1,024 ways on top of the line wins.
The two special symbols are:
- The White Orchid logo wild, which substitutes for every symbol except the scatter. It never lands on reel 1, and it can land in stacks on the other reels.
- The White Orchid bonus symbol, a scatter that only counts on the middle reel.
The stake choice is what gives White Orchid its own angle: the same 5x4 reels can be played as a plain line game or with ways pays added, so you decide how combinations are counted.
Free spins
Many slots spread their scatters across all five reels. White Orchid puts them on reel 3 alone, and because that reel is four rows tall, two, three or four bonus symbols can land there at once. Two award 10 free spins, three award 15 and four award 20.
The feature can be retriggered. Landing two or more White Orchid symbols on the middle reel during the round adds more spins on the same scale, so a single round can run well past its starting count.
